Here's how it works:

(1) You are required to provide your mobile phone number during account creation.

(2) After the registration process is complete, you will receive one SMS text message (from 84787) prompting you to confirm your consent to allowing us to geolocate your mobile device (the "Location Service").

(3) Reply YES CZR to the SMS text message to opt-in. You can cancel our Location Service's ability to obtain your geographic location at any time by replying STOP CZR to the SMS text message, or by contacting us at [email protected].

(4) Your location coordinates will be verified each time you login to your account, and periodically while logged into TropicanaCasino.com.

(5) Periodic reminders that you are opted in to the Location Service will be sent to your mobile device every 30 days. No action will be needed if you wish to continue using the service; it's just a friendly reminder!

Other Terms & Conditions

  • The Location Service uses location data, and by using the Location Service, you consent and permit your wireless carrier to share your location with us. There is no representation, warranty or guarantee of accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any location data, product or service.
  • Mobile phone user privacy is extremely important to us. Geographic location coordinates are only gathered after the mobile phone user has opted in to this service as described above.
  • You will receive 1 SMS requesting your consent to opt-in to the Location Service upon account creation and 1 SMS confirming that the Location Service is enabled (once you reply "YES CZR" to the initial message to confirm your consent). Additionally, you will receive 1 SMS every 30 days to remind you of your subscription to the Location Service. Message and Data rates may apply.
  • You may cancel the Location Service at any time by texting STOP CZR to 84787.
  • Your location information is retained for up to 10 years as required by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and applicable state and federal regulations. It is only accessible by TropicanaCasino.com and our partners for the purpose of providing the Location Service. Location coordinate data is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and stored in password protected servers. We will not pass on or resell your data to any third party. We reserve the right to provide location information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or government agency request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property.
  • If your location cannot be verified within the State of New Jersey at the time you attempt to login to your account, you will be able to log in but you will not be able to place wagers. If your location cannot be verified within the State of New Jersey at any point during game play, any action that has been initiated prior to the failed location verification will complete, after which your account will be prevented from further wagering. Under no circumstances will We be responsible or liable in any respect for any losses you may incur as a result of your location not being able to be properly verified.


The Location Service supports US Tier 1 carriers such as AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless, and Tier 2 carriers (where available) such as Boost, Cricket, U.S. Cellular and Virgin Mobile. The Location Service may be (i) made available in the future on other mobile carriers' networks, or (ii) removed from mobile carriers where it is currently available, at our exclusive discretion. The Location Service might not be available if your mobile phone is roaming or turned off.


Important Message from your Cellular Provider (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others):

This is not a Cellular Provider application. If you use this application, it may require your Cellular Provider to disclose your customer information, including location information, to the application provider or some other third party. By providing your consent, you authorize your Cellular Provider to disclose your information to third parties to enable this application. Check the application’s terms of use and the policies for more information about how the application will collect, access, and use or disclose your information. Terms of use and other policies usually are available on the application provider’s website. If you aren’t comfortable with the application’s polices, don’t use it. You acknowledge and agree that (1) your relationship with the application provider is separate from your relationship with your Cellular Provider; (2) Your Cellular Provider is not responsible for this application; and (3) you will hold harmless your Cellular Provider and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns from any judgments, claims, actions, losses, liabilities or expenses arising from or attributable to this application or the acts or omissions of the application provider.
